Healthy Aspects is a registered provider of NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) ‘Therapeutic Supports’ services.
At Healthy Aspects, our counsellors are experienced in supporting individuals under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) with capacity building and improving daily living skills. Our NDIS counsellors are available to support NDIS participants via a home-based service or Telehealth.
We strongly believe in providing support to help individuals maintain a positive health and wellbeing and improve their mood, self-esteem, performance goals, relationships, and overall life satisfaction. We have a wealth of experience in supporting participants to manage their NDIS goals.
The NDIS system can be confusing. Please contact us on (08) 9468 0045 and we can assist you with understanding the funding that has been provided to you, and how you can access it for counselling services.
What do NDIS counsellors provide help with?
The first thing an NDIS counsellor will do during session is go over your goals with you to lay a foundation for the work we’re going to do together. Our goals are a great way to measure progress, but they can always be adjusted along the way to suit your needs and circumstances should they change during our time together. If you are unsure, your NDIS counsellor will be able to help answer any questions and offer guidance to help set goals to improve your mood, self-esteem, and independence.
NDIS counsellors can help:
> Identify and work towards new goals.
> Find relief from negative feelings.
> Feel more independent
> Reduce the impact of anxiety and depression in your life
> Find new tools and techniques for coping with challenges
> Improve your social skills to develop and enhance your relationships
What can you expect from your NDIS counsellor?
Our focus is to tailor our sessions towards your needs. We understand that you are leading the way in your journey and are the expert in your life experiences. We are here to listen and provide strategies that can be used on a daily basis to empower you.
What to expect in my first session ?
In our first session, the NDIS counsellor will usually begin by exploring what you would like to achieve in our time together. We identify your strengths, interests, and goals. This early discussion allows us to provide you with the support and skills you’re looking for in our time together.
